I am 37 now.
I have practiced a lot of spear fishing in New Caledonia ... during 4 years but it is a long time ago now (7 years !)
I now practice spear fishing once in a while, especially during holiday time.
I live in Tarnos, near Biarritz South West of france, the region is better known for surfing (which I also practice) than spear fishing.
When I travel, I like to bring along a few toys with me, according to the destination, my spear gun and gear can come along ... the problem is taking diving weight on flights !!
