Hi there, i spearfish with a Roballen gun, works exelant and for fun i want to make my owen gun out of wood. Something unique and nice looking. Got some Rhodesian teak today and will start ripping it in to strips and then epoxy them together.

Rhodesian Teak is an excellent wood for spearguns. Quite a few different variations of Teak is used for spearguns but as far a I know Rhodesian Teak is most probably the most sought after and hard to come by.
I have two Rhodesian Teak guns made by local SA spearfishing legend Tommy Botha - beautiful guns and magnificent hunting machines.

Thanks for the positive feedback, got 16 pieces of 10mm x 40mm x 1400mm out of the 2 x planks. Will take some pics some time tomorow before epoxy them.
