Re: Holiday Guernsey 2008.

The peninsular is not that far in a car but to far to walk from St George. The Peninsular is very close (100mtr) from where you were in this pic http://forums.deeperblue.net/attachments/beach-bar/14604d1185641829-holiday-guernsey-2007-group2.jpg Grand harve bay & the Knife are on your door step but Town is not & my house is in between.
I dont think this will be any problem Guernsey is not a big place we are talking about a 10 min drive.

i think diving the knife was one of the best dives i had that along with the one i went on with OMD and jamesT

Re: Holiday Guernsey 2008.

I am sitting here giggling like an idiot - that disco fun bus was something else.

Juan you are very unkind I have very fond memories of that evening:inlove but then is was rocquette fuelled:friday

Re: Holiday Guernsey 2008.

Love their angling map, apparently there's only bass round the breakwater??!! Well there was one yesterday. 10lb 6oz fell to a Portuguese chap on a tiny bream hook with scallop frill bait. One less for you lot next year...

Re: Holiday Guernsey 2008.

Haven't tried spearing around there ... might be a bit of a busy spot!:)

Re: Holiday Guernsey 2008.

Col you are only allowed to swim (dive) in the harbour on Christmas day! OMD has been there.

Re: Holiday Guernsey 2008.

...and outside the breakwater?

This is going off at a bit of a tangent from Holiday Guernsey 2008!:)

Lovely day today, beautifully clear atmosphere you can see for miles.
First pic shows the Islands directly in front of our East coast other pics were taken from exactly the same spot just on different magnifications. That is France you see on the horizon.

Good pics mate, the view from the top of the Val Dees of the Casquets, Alderney and France was stunning. We were in cloud and they were in sun so they were so bright. Never seen Cap De La Hague that clearly.

Great pics Foxy! If I stare hard enough at them the horizon turns into a giant bottle of Rocquette cider and a voice sweetly sings, "drink me, drink me....."

It's about small communities and inbreeding Podge.
His most lucrative party trick is 'Who'll bid the most...?'
.....that is: to stop him opening the mac!!!
