Hello all, I am reaching out for opinions and / or experiences please :) I have a 5mm Cressi spearfishing suit and was getting really bad hood squeeze so made some vents for my poor old ears and now the whole ocean pours in, I was too enthusiastic with the holes! I dive all year and so I see two options, one being use pro plugs and stick with the hood as is, the other being, bite the bullet, cut the hood off and use an oceanic scuba hood that I know doesn't squeeze......................... what do you think? Thanks in advance ;)

I'd give it one more shot. Glue the vents and make new holes with a needle. Integrated hood is one the main reason for using a 2 piece suit and keeping warm. Although I prefer to use a surfing suit immediately when the water is warm enough...

Good point Japppo, many thanks for that, I will give it a go, I don't really want to cut the hood off if I don't have to ;)
