Hi all, new to these forums/freediving as a whole and thought this was probably the best place to come with a quick question regarding finning.
Basically, I recently got back from a freediving course in Malta which I absolutely loved and (breath hold/depth wise) went great! However, I have now learnt that I am truly appalling with fins. I haven't really had any prior experience with fins before so I'm not too surprised, but I'm not really sure quite how to train further before looking into any more advanced courses where they would be necessary (I just had to do my beginner course bare-foot).
I kind of got to the level of being able to swim backwards although it was really tough... forwards meanwhile was more of an exercise in vaguely splashing, and my ankles have only just stopped hurting after 2 weeks!
Does anyone have any advice for how to train up whilst living a way from the sea in London?
