I've been a bit lazy in updating the current videos I wish to update. I plan to make a few new ones as well. I got a PM through YouTube asking about some other videos. The weather is cooling here and I hope to have more free time as night is coming much earlier now.

Another trick for tying wishbones on is to apply a dab of superglue to the knot once it is tight. I've never had any problems with them that way.

No problem bro. I hope to refine and make new videos soon. Just kind of busy. How did you manage to get that much line through? One idea would be thin fishing mono with a small fishing weight. Run it through and tie it to the cord and then pull it back through.

I managed to suck it in a few yards then (fearing a punctured lung if I struggled on) used the inherent stretch in the tubing to pull the end of the line further down the tube whilst making sure the line was stretched fully out behind the end furthest in. Hard on the hands but with my girlfriend's help we managed to do ten meters in about half an hour. I just used bog standard blue tubing from an aquarium. Then sealed the ends with swivels and constrictor knots as per your video. Works a treat.

You may want to seal the end with silicone or something so that water does not get in. If it floods it won't float.

The best way to do it to superglue a piece of kleenex onto some super fine fishing line and suck it through with a vacuum cleaner. Then you tie the "real" line onto the fishing line and pull it back through. takes about five minutes if you don't screw up.

Anyone know how to make screw in bands?

Im trying to steel the old threads off my 20mm seatech rubbers and put them on new ones?

they make metal screw ends that you tie into the bands. I've seen links on here for them, but not sure where. Taking plastic ones off an old set of bands is near impossible I think. They are put on with a machine.

Figures that the one video I need would be down when I needed it. See how I posted about learning about making bands. I lied. Didnt learn anything, forgot all of it. Now here I am like a year later, actually about to attempt to replace my bands, going spearing in the morning, have no bands, and no idea how to make bands. I think Ill go and dispatch myself now. :headHa ha oh well...
