My name is Mike, I am native Texan that has recently relocated to the Sarasota, FL area. I am a recent graduate of Texas A&M University @ Galveston, where I received a BS in Marine Biology. I moved to Sarasota to take a position with Mote Marine Research Lab. I am primarily a scuba diver (advanced/Nitrox) but I also snorkel (I'm not experienced enough to call myself a freediver). Most of my snorkeling has been less 7meters. I am a kayak diver and spearfisherman and I'm always looking for locals to buddy up with and learn all the best local spots.
