Hey Everybody!

I love free diving, snorkeling, diving, spearfishing, sailing and swimming

I just free dove Ginnie Springs in Florida, it was amazing! Crystal clear water and chilly! My personal best Constant Weight with Fins is around 77 feet, and I hope to get even better. Starting to get into free diving in Texas, so if anyone out there does, hit me up. I live in G-town Texas and like to hit up the old Flagship hotel piers for some sheepshead every now and then. I take some pretty cool "retro" underwater pictures so check 'em out.

Brett! Welcome from South Central Texas. I saw the Old Flagship last December and that looks very fishy but really cruddy viz. How far is it? We go out of Port A. PM me for cell # and maybe we can get a group together.

Tons of fish out there but the viz was like 5 feet maybe, scary diving, ha! My friend was out there the other day and it was about 10 feet or more, it really depends on the tides and weather.

I would love to get a group together to find some clearer water, my friend and I are working up some plans for the flower gardens so stay in touch. Where do you dive out of Port Arthur?

If you're still in FL, check out Blue Springs in Orange City. It is the cream of the crop. But if you go on a weekend in the summer, you need to go either just after the park opens, or just before it closes, and still be prepared to deal with crowds. I grew up in FL freediving Blue Springs and Ginnie Springs (and many others) before I even knew what freediving was.

Incidentally, I live in Houston TX now and I go kitesurfing in Galveston sometimes. But I haven't been freediving since I left FL years ago... and I'm also moving to CA very soon.

I gave the camera to the guy who isn't the best at holding his breath so few turned out well and the are extremely rushed, lol!

Ginnie Springs is still a great time though, Devil's Ear is one of my favorite places of all time, just gotta make it to Dean's Blue Hole in the Bahamas now!
