hello everyone,
I just arrived in yokosuka, japan on the naval base and my friend and I were wondering if anybody out there could help us out to find some freediving buddies. we will only be here unitl the 14 of august or so and we really need to get into the water. unforunatly we were rushed here and have no gear. thank the military for that one. but we would be greatfull for numbers or email adresses, anything to get us into the water. we both dive 100 ft+ and enjoy spearfishing. my email is wedeln@cable.navy.mil
thanks
Nick

well I would love to go for a dive normally but actually I'm on holiday in Europe at the moment. But if you Japanese is ok or you can get a translation check out these websites

You,ll find the spearfishing where you are though around Tokyo usually done in shallow water. If you go deepeer for freediving, watch out for boats.

The Izu penisula is a nice place still pretty close to Tokyo with beautiful underwater terrain. Its worth a weekend trip.
