I want a big flange...

When spearing in cold water, do you ever find that your mouth gets so numb that you can no longer keep the snorkel sealed with lips and water flows in? It becomes a problem for me after about an hour or 2 in the water, i think my lips are too big i dunno haha...
i mean its not me being a wimp, it’s physically beyond my ability to stop it happening...
Someone said i need a bigger flange on my snorkel... Does anyone have any suggestions for snorkels with big flanges to resolve my problem?

They make "ice masks" which cover the entire face but leave a gap for a snorkel...

Alternately, you could custom mould an addition with some Sugru

Imersion has an ice mask. 3 mm neoprene, hole around the eyes for the mask, and a small hole for the snorkel.

Here's an option that might work... or you could use as a "base" to mould some Sugru around to cover your lips:
