I want some new fins

I have a pair of Beuchat Carbon pros which are extremely comfortable and I thought were great. Recently I have been using a pair of DiveR (med stiffness-the long composite ones) and I can get to 20 meters with 10 kick cycles. They are very long and provide a great deal of propulsion but they are a bit hard on the legs. When I switched back to the Beuchats it felt like I was not wearing any fins at all! They are like wet noodles! When I kick very hard with the Beuchats they are like dish rags on my feet! I discovered that my fins lack stiffness needed to get down. My partner said that my Beuchats seem very wimpy and actually twist and wobble when i kick. He said the DiveR fins look great when i kick. and I had a more even kick.

I am not bashing my Beuchat fins as I love them and when it comes to comfort they are second to none. They are great in shallower water and I can go all day without getting soar or getting blisters. I just need some stiffer fins to get down and up to and from 30 meters. I need fins that are between the stiffnes of Buechat Carbon Pros and DiveR mediums.

Does anybody know where to get DiveR fins?

Try a pair of Specialfins kelpies medium or Hybrid medium, if you can find someone with a pair. The Hybrid hards are a bit too stiff. These fins are designed for spearfishing, slightly shorter and wider than pure freediving fins and no rails on the blades, so you lose a bit of efficiency, but gain a lot of maneuverability. The medium kelpi in Dessault pockets are somewhat softer than Gara 2000 hfs but much harder than Waterways #2, and much more efficient. In Beuchat pockets, they will be a lot softer than the Gara's. Build quality is very high and the bifin blades are bullet proof. Service for me has been outstanding, some others have had a different experiance. I like mine.

Thanks Connor. I will check out some friends of mine to see about Specialfins. DiveR is coming out with Carbons (my friend has a pair that he won) and they are a bit shorter than the original DiveR's. I was not able to try them because his feet are smaller than mine.

I am currently using a pair of DiveR that belong to another friend (broke his leg) so I'll be experimenting with these for a few weeks!:blackeye
