i took some mpeg shots.. it was pretty amazing! would be nice combined with some music.. the sound of the waves etc... (not the screeches from my colleague and i! though!)
Colleagues... so was this on or off the job? What exactly do you do for a living in Maldives?
normally i work as a dive instructor.. although for the past six months i landed an office job in a new resort construction.
gotta get in the water though...
You left out the self-portraits, gorgeous, my feelings are hurt. :D
Very cool -- you should make a film-clip.

pezman.. took various mpegs shots.. but need some good software to put it all together..
thought about putting some diving shots in too..

oh i love this place. :)

You can mix mpegs together easily using Movie Maker .

Assuming that you have Windows XP:

- just download MM 2.1 from Microsoft (free download).
- import the clips
- Drop the clips into the movie timeline

The interface is very intuitive and the help is pretty good. There are lots of sites online to get you going and help you past some of the speed-bumps. The best site I've seen is here:

I even bought the guy's book -- which is pretty basic -- mostly just to toss him a few bucks for spreading the word. In my view, Movie Maker is one of the better apps that Microsoft has ever produced. those contemplating a "witty" reply -- please spare us:naughty

Good luck and if you have any detailed questions, like how to create your own transition and special effect filters, do chroma keys, tweak the color balance for underwater films etc., I'd be happy to share what I know.
cheers! cool!

will look into it on my next day off... hmmmm gotta get out the archives of mpegs now..

thanks Fishman!
de nada, though I think you meant "fish hombre".

Never really have taken pictures while I was underwater diving, or anything like that. Don't know why either. I need to try it sometime. :)

I like the blue water though. :D

Sheesh -- some nutless jackass gave me unsigned negative karma for that one. Thanks for your kindness:D.

Movie Maker 2 rules! Now that you have shot your karmic wad, you are powerless to retaliate against me further. Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time rofl rofl rofl.
