Idea for a pneumatic gun

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
For this design to work must be d > 0,707 D.
Then the force holding yellow and orange part together is greater than the force than try to separate them.

Maybe better...
Spring might be shorter, just for the ball, for the inlet valve. However, as on image, helps in moving "green part" and piston in locking position.

Same idea as above, but different solution and much more simple and reliable design.

Using safety switch there are some other possibilities too.
1. Activating Trigger valve gun would shot on low power. How strong, depends on the size of the hole.
2. During loading incremental loading would be possible.
3. Gun could be pressurised this way too, similar to method used in Zelinka.

A new idea. (Some corrections are still necessary)

Interesting to watch your designs and development!

Forgive me for asking, but what design features do you want in your design?

How do you load the gun? How much force do you need?
