I've been sort of out of the freedive world for a bit of time now, so dont know all the best products like I used to when I was more active. Anyway, I am getting ready to set off on my cruising sailboat from florida and will be heading to the bahamas and working my way south through the Caribbean and eventually through Panama canal and beyond.

Obviously once I set out customer service and support will become much more difficult, or at times impossible. Hence the question. If you could have one set of carbon fins to depend on for the next couple years, which would it be? Also in your experience which footpockets hold up the best?

Right now I am leaning towards DiveR blades. Mainly because I have personally never heard of anyone breaking one. Dont know which foot pocket yet. I'm going to head over to florida freedivers and try on a few. The three I'm leaning towards are the cetma, c4 400s, or pathos.

Any and all input is appreciated! Also I will have a set of fiberglass spear master blades as backup.

Also I will be using them primarily for spearfishing from my dinghy. Hoping to mostly avoid shore diving.

Apparently nobody around here to read this, but I ended up going with DiveR carbon blades and cetma s wing pockets.

Not that I have ever used DiveR but have at least heard they are on the upper end of being durable and good performance, doubt you will regret the purchase.

Sounds like you got a decent result. There are some YouTube videos on DiveR blades. There is a foot pocket they prefer to use, I forget which, possibly Mares Razor?? But they are supposed to be ok with other foot pockets.
