im a snorkel noob help me pls

hi guys i wanna know if you knew or have the new cressi sub snorkel corsica if it is a good snorkel to buy . i have tusa hyperdry but the tube desintegrade after 1/2 years it becomes brittle and i suddenly snapped. so i wanna buy some new snorkel w/ a simple j-style in cressi sub i have seen the corsica its bendable and a j-type snorkel or the mexico type model can you gys help me to find some good simple snorkle? and is it good to have a purge in snorkle in freediving? or just stay in simple J,.. thanks guys

Hi Earl,

I used to use a purge valve snorkel which worked ok but if it goes wrong you will be buggered! I now use a Cressi Corsica and it is a very good snorkel it has a very soft silicon mouth piece and serves me well for hours on end whilst spearfishing - so much so I don't even know it is there.

I even bought my Father one for one of his Xmas presents!

yep a really nice snorkel, but buy a keep for it as its a killer under your mask strap
