I've called my dad in Rio, he told me a second story that air on TV, he was shot by his friend. Not a surprise since the viz on that bay is propably 2 feet. He arrived at the hospital walking with the shaft stuck to his head.

The diver has no brains to begin with, the place he was diving is guanabara bay probably one of the most poluted places in Rio. The city dump raw sewerd and lots of oil spills.

Life has their twists, one would think that a person who was shot on the head with a speargun would be more likely to die then someone skiing on a green slope (about the actress who die a couple of weeks ago).

I am still not convinced about their story that shaft was fire a rock and came back.
