Hi, I'm soon travelling to Indonesia for a couple of weeks and would like to hear some pointers regarding local diving.

Anyone been to Menayawakan Island north of Java? There's a resort called Kura-Kura which seems to have everything from private airplane transfers to diving and accommodations in very beautiful surroundings.

Other interesting but remote location is Northern Sulawasi and Bunaken National Park especially. Any experiences?

Thanks for any clues,
Matti

Hello Matmikko!

I think that your man is Erik! he has lived in Indonesia and he might be able to help you!

My dive group is scheduled to go to Wakatobi, Indonesia, in October. It appears this is getting to be a hot destination, remote and great diving, charter from Bali. They have also started to run a live aboard from the resort to extend the capacity. Try www.wakatobi.com
