inland dive sites

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.

winter is here, the sea is rough. so its back to lakes and quarries.
does any one know of any inland dive sites that are
1. are free / cheap.
2. good.

I only know of one free quarry "wommersley" in yorkshire, 6m deep, a couple of cars at the edge. good for training. watch out when jetski's come on the quarry.
