If that's dab it's a monster!! Specimen here is 1/1.5lb (shore/boat). How big Danas! Well done too btw! Looks 2-3lb!

The furthest away one is probably a flounder, the same as the one in the foreground but the camera angle certainly makes it look like a longer, narrower flattie.

thanks lads for your knowledge. it looks to me more lemon sole , then flounder. and taste is much nicer then flounders. next weekend mission is to hunt a wolffish. norwegians saying is one of nicest fish to eat.

No Ireland contenders for fish of the year, bummer!
So how are we all, the season must be nearly over now?? Time to stock up on scallops:)

Ya... baldyfish got renamed to Jonnybuoy in a desperate effort to change his luck :)

Scallops are stocked up :)

yeah fierce quiet about at the minute but with the weather as it is I have no intention of venturing in at all. Maybe if we get a settle sunny crsipy day over the Christmas I will get the head down.
Foe anyone up to it there is training this Friday for experienced freediviers in Dublin and then a normal day course on the Sat. Hoping to get a few names to go to Steves comp in Liverpool next March.
