Sounds good- SO.......Just a raise of hands. Who all is planning on going to the sheboygan outlet? If there is no one else- I will probably not go - as I'm not going to go by myself- It's just not safe. If no one else goes- I'll probably hit the outlet in madison again. So- if your going- post on here that you are please.

I don't know if you checked the weather yet, but they're predicting a high of 10F on Saturday- without the windchill.

As far as the Madison outlet goes, I was there yesterday for a couple of hours. The outlet was NOT on and I only saw one pan fish. Temp was around 36F, so a little warmer than the last time I was there, but the fish were sparse. I did see two carp, who were moving so slow I could catch them with my hand- no speargun/polespear required. I also saw two musky. Other than that it was pretty barren.

I was thinking about coming up Sat. Things are looking suspect. I may be going to NYC this weekend (75% chance). I don't know if I will be back Friday or Saturday. So DOtey, trying my fins may have to wait, sorry bro. Wreck, I'll let you know when I know.

PS: Gene sorry to hear about your job. Terrible thing to have happen.

I plan to go Saturday Whopperhead.......I'm flexible as to where. I have my gear, a full tank of gas and the day off. If the high is 10....the water will just seem that much warmer......

Thats true- We've dove when the air temp was less than that- I'm going to see if my Ice shanty fits in my Durango- and bring a heater for on shore warm house :) - We'll see what ILDiver's plans are as to what time we will meet at- So, It looks like right now - it will be Me, dotey, Wreckrunner, and possibly ILDiver. Sounds good!

Nice.....not sure what the heck an ice shanty is, but it sounds like a place I'll want to be...........

I got some foam filled floatline from the place you mentioned a while back. It looks great.......can't wait to try it.

Jeremy

Scott, put it on your trailer! Make that ox...er...I mean brother of yours help!

i suppose I could do that- a Ice Shanty is like a tent with a sled for the bottom usually is used for Ice fishing. Ice fishing is drilling a hole through the ice and sitting for many hours hoping that a fish bites your dead bait.

well ill be there for sure so i hope to see all of you there and meet some new freedivers around here so see you guys there

Ok, looks like I'll be there. Thursday I fly to NYC, Friday back to Chicago and I was promised a ride from there. Wreck I'll get you the details. I'll have my mask, fins, snorkle and wetsuit and weight belt. I am not going to mess with my gun. SO I'll need weights and a gun or sling to borrow for the day! Busy weekend!

I'll bring 3 of my guns and the sling- and I have weights- so What time you guys want to meet there 11am?

I have a sling and shaft you can use, but it may not be what you want to hunt with.......anyone got a spare gun?

yeah- I have one extra one- I have 3 guns (1 for me, 1 for dotey and an extra) ALSO, the Sling ILDiver made for me! But If there are Carp we won't want to use that. oh! and I figured out my ice shanty goes smaller and WILL fit in the back of my Durango. Hurray! It'll be nice- It has 2 fairly comfortable seats and you can zip open the front or the back and your still protected by a plastic window! I will also bring my Heater and some Vitamin Waters. And if more people show up with no speargun- They can use mine and I'll go strickly with the Camera and gets some better qualilty Video. It'll all work.

Awesome.......I don't know how long it will take me and Chris. We'll shoot for between 10 and 11? That's about as accurate as I can be at the moment......I'll have a look at my GPS later.

Can't wait!

Jeremy

well cant wait to see you guys there but rember i am still new at this thing so give a break ok but ill see you guys there

new is an understatement.....I have never touched 35 degree water.
I may actually die.

Or barricade myself in the "shanty"

I was promised 45 degree water! SCOTT!

Don't worry Wreck, it might get to 28 if your lucky, then you can warm up in the 35!

Oh, Scott, bring your spray bottle!

well scott broke his spray bottle but ill bring mine and might pick up another to have for spare .I get them from walgreens they are $1.99 or $3.99 for two and they have diffrent sizes and the soap i am useing is sent away from wal-mart it is $4.00 and is really good stuff and you dont have to put as much in with the water i put about a dime size in with the water. but ill have two or three there so help yourself to them
