I had a great time in Guernsey at the inter insular chess championship, what a great bunch. Back home now and was really looking fwd to some spearfishing but weather forecast looks poop for next few days . Fortunately next weekend looks much more promising ! Will try and get the species comp standings updated 2mos.
Well how did the Jersey boys chess team get on against Guernsey in this years comp?

TBH i think the speccie comp is well and truly Jersey's! well deserved too. I was hoping that more Guerns might have got involved but it hasnt worked out that way. Keep posting the fish tho - its good to see how you guys are getting on!

Cheers Johnny, had three Giltheads come out the weed, only six metres of water and probably only a minute or so bottom time, the best bit was the huge bass that was with them. Made chosing what to take very difficult!! Still plenty of time for species comp yet!
