K-mart has a golf travel case on sale right now for $30 U.S. I just picked one up last night for an upcoming trip to So. Cal and it's great. I can fit 2 suits, a hooded vest, several pairs of gloves and socks, 2 weight belts plus my mask, snorkel, blades, soap etc. w/ room to spare. I think that you could put a few pretty good sized spear guns in there too (I'm not a spearo, so I can't say for sure).
Very compact, has wheels and handles in all the right places. It can be locked if that's an issue. Nice tight seal to lock that suit-stench in there and release it w/ full potency when you arrive at your destination.
