kia ora to all you other gill equiped free divers out there. would anyone be able to give me some tips on how to increase my static?

Whereabouts do you stay in Aotearoa? I am just out of Nelson at the top of the South Island. There is some good diving spots aroung these parts:)

I'm always keen for a dive buddy!

If you're Wellington based, bring a wetsuit and come along to Freyberg pool tonight. We're (Lazy Seals Free Diving Club) doing statics and I'd be happy to give you a hand.

If you are Auckland based, contact Fran (No Bubbles - No Compromise Free Diving). No Bubbles also run really solid training courses in Auckland and Wellington on a regular basis.

We also have good people like Shoutatthesky in various spots around the country, looking for people to train/ safety dive with.

;) Guy, you're sure we are at Freyberg tonight? Thought we would meet tomorrow... Or are you trying a new PB in statics 'till tomorrow? Respect, this would be almost 26 hours! I'll watch! ;)

We train Tuesday & Thursday 7pm - 8.30pm ish Bkey.

I'm up in whangarei. heaps of big snapper and kingis but iv heard some awsome stories about your area and if im ever in the area il look you up. you don't by any chance no a spearo called richard Gordon from that area?
 
i hang out around whangarei and auckland. sounds like a good course to do.
