Leader Fins Foot Pocket Sizing

Hey there community,

I hope you are fine. I read the board quite up and down, could find a lot of help, but no experienced answer for this.

My feet are 27cm long. Normally I wear EU-size shoes of 43. I plan to NOT wear any socks in my fins. According to the Size Chart https://www.leaderfins.com/us/size I should go for 41-42.

According to their foot pocket description https://www.leaderfins.com/us/foot-pockets-with-assembly-set.html however, I should stick with my shoe size 43-44.

Could some guys with leaderfins foot pockets post their feet length and foot pocket size barefoot fit?

I waited to see if someone else would reply and don't know if this will help or not. I measure the length of my foot at 9.5" and I have a 9 EEE shoe size and the 9-10 Leaderfins fit me perfect without socks, they will stretch a little too. My toes do not stick out the holes very far. I (family) am on our third purchase of Leaderfins and it's been my experience that they are pretty much true to fit without a sock. If you take a 43-44 shoe I would almost bet you would take the 43-44 foot pocket. Although the best bet is to try them on, which can be difficult sometimes. The main reason I ended up with Leaderfins is because they are popular here in the Marshall Islands and was easy to find my fit. Hope this helps.

I just received my new leaderfins and the foot pockets appear to be slightly larger than my older ones purchased over a year ago. So I have to now say that they may not be true to size and you might have to drop down a size to go without socks. I've also noticed that the newer ones rub my achilles tendon so I might be changing these out.

So I actually just received a pair of fins from leader and I went by their chart and they fit a little TOO perfect, even without a sock. Had to heat it up and expand, until it fit easily my foot and then with the socks. If you're gonna use without socks, then measure your size and order the next one.

My regular EU size for shoes is 43, according to the chart I should take 41-42. I plan to use 2mm Neopren socks in them. I am really not sure what to take now. Any more advice / experience?

Gor for 2 sizes over yours. I went according to their graph and am having to buy a bigger footpockets.

According to their graph I'm 39-40, and it's too damn tight. I had to stretch them just to wear them WITHOUT socks. The foot pocket from Mares I'm getting (they are interchangeable) are 43-44 and believe that would've also been the perfect size from Leader fins. I use 3mm socks
