Hi everyone!

Me and my girlfriend are planning to travel all the best freedive places in the world. Unfortunataly our old longfins (Mares Razor pro & Mares Instinct) are too long and too heavy. We'll travel with a backpack with an inner length around 65 cm (Osprey Sojours 80l), so the fins should not be longer than that. Or the footpocket should be removable but also then the blade should not be longer than 65 cm.

Does anyone have recommendations for good but shorter freedive fins that are not to heavy?

Cheers,
Raffaele and Sabine

Omer Stingray Shorts tick all the boxes. I use them when travelling with suitcase, when I can't take my dive bag.

Thanks for the tip! I saw the Omer Stingray Shorts as well. They look good but I'm still not sure the blades are short enough. Do you know the exact size of the blades?

Also the footpockets of the Omar Stingrays are more or less the same in weight as the Mares footpockets, so still 2,4 Kg to travel with.

Any second recommendation?

Hi, the Omer Stingray Short Footpockets were specifically designed for the shorter blades. They are actually lighter than the regular ones. The tendons are thinner and shorter. The blades are around 65 cm long., making the fin approx. 80cm with FP's. Later, you can fit full length Leaderfin blades on them, making them more versatile.
You could also take a look at the Beuchat Mondial 50's or the SEAC Talent's, but they both don't have detachable FP's. The Immersion E:Greys are also worth with looking into.
