i like water very much
i dive since i was a boy to collect crabs an to see the wonder within the sea
i am also a underwater hunter and with great respect for the environement and the life arround me...
my problem is that my work is somehow a sedentary-one
i am 39 years of age, 170 cm and 93 kg [see avatar]:(

my qestion for you is if a good corellation exist between my numbers:
50 meters dinamic apneea with fins
2 minutes static apneea
15 meters constant weight
thanks a lot 4 answering my question:)

Hi Vali and welcome. I am a life long water person too, but I discovered the decision to try to be good at freediving was an important one in making big improvements. Basically:
- i shifted to a healthier diet, less alcohol too (I said LESS, but that is relative to how much I drunk before :)
- i started more exercise, just walking more, or using the stairs instead of the lift in my office building
- I go in the ocean 3 to 4 times a week for 2 to 3 hour spearfishing or freediving sessions
- I practice DNF at a little pool at home.

Note I don't do those tables, or any specific gym etc, because I don't enjoy them! I am also 39 years/1.79M/70kg.

In 5 months of the above, I have improved 2x to 4x my start points, and the most important thing is that I feel really good doing a new sport.

ENJOY!

If you have not tried the CO2/O2 tables by now, it's a good time to start! You will likely see a great improvement and statics up to 3-5 minutes in the weeks to come, great for motivation!

today i was at the pool and i've started wit some static in order to stai at least 2 minutes underwater after a short brake.
i guess i used a full packing....at 2 minutes i go up, but after 5-6 seconds my heart start beating aritmic....after 15 minutes was ok, but in those 15 minutes i experienced what once was happened to me whaen i go at 15 meters after a scubadiving session....[about 2 years ago]
i don't understand what is with this abnormal heartbeating....

Vali perhaps it was the packing other factors may be training to hard fatigue electrolytes could be imbalanced low in potasuim or magnesium or to much caffeine all can cause dysrhythmias also many medications can cause this even common indigestion. My guess however is the packing was the cause. For your peace of mind you might ask your doctor cardiac stress test. Good luck keep us posted on what you find out.

i do not take any madication...
i drink coffe, but in little amount
i do smoke [2 or 3 cigarets/day and not every day]
i guess it was the overpacking and fatigue...
thanks a lot:)
