Looking for a hinged Mono

Hey Guys first time on the board but not to free diving and monos. Here is my question...

I was watching shark week... I know, Anyway there was a guy swiming with what looked like a hinged mono fin with metal reinforcements.

I have looked high and low and can't seem to find them. I know they sound goofey with the metal but as he was going along it looked like he had some amazing power in it.

I think I've seen the same program with the guy using one, I think I even made a post about it here...can't remember what it was called though.

If it is the same fin as the one I saw then I have no idea where you can get one, maybe it was made for the program. Sorry I'm no use! :duh but if you find out anymore about them then I'd be interested to hear about it, as it did look like the spring mechanism would provide extra power.

Is that possible to have a look at that monofin or that tv programm on the internet?
Will it be forecast on tv again?

I saw the program quite a long time ago. Is it a series Trident? In the one I saw he was swimming with Whale Sharks and he even talked about having the technology ( as he rasies the monofin out of the water ) enabling him to keep up with the whale shark.

Yeah is should be replayed this week on discovery it was part of shark week. I will keep looking and let you guys know what I find.
