Maldives - looking for buddy

just out of interest did you mange to get any spearo action in the maldives?
I will be going soon and was wondering what the possibilities are, any reports of your hols would be welcome.

Hi,

there was no buddy , so I just snorkeled - Maldives 2009 - a set on Flickr
..and it was great, but no breath-hold training....

Try to ask local divers, there is a chance, there will be profesional scuba diver with freediving experience (not on Summer Island Village), but you might be more lucky on you island.

We will be going to Sri Lanka for one week (to get married) then to Meeru in the Madives for the second week (honeymoon). I will take pictures and under water footage.

Even if no spearo action just looking at your pictures I can see that snorkling will be amazing. I will post some pictures when we get back.

Sri Lanka is great place for wedding, we were thinking about it (finaly decided for Mauritius, but Sri Lanka was our second choice)..
