Wonderin how many of you guys are gonna go on June 1st, to Shelly Beach in search of hidden treasure??
It was in the Manly Daily on Wednesday, page 5....
Basically divers (free, scuba, snorkel) will scramble to find potatoes dropped on to the sea-bed with tickets attached. Each ticket corresponds with prizes worth, in total, more than $10,000.....
Main prize is a 4 day live aboard trip on the great barrier reef...
It looks to the exact thing, you'd want to go, maybe not to practice depth, but maybe to look at the beautiful scenery around up there...
Its bein run by the Dive Centre in Manly, and all proceeds goto the International Diver Emergency Network.
Entry is $20, and I belive you can either call 9977 4355, or goto the dive centre at manly to register, which is what Ill be doing, cause I ain't got no credit card....
