Mares Cyrano

Hi there,

I just got the Mares Cyrano 850 and now I wanted to see how it is loaded (on land, and just to see how much effort that takes, but not until it is in shooting mode).
But somehow I fear I might bend the Spear, as the spear only goes in 5 cm. When I look through the nozzle holes, there is a white plastic cylinder. Do I have to unscrew the nozzle and remove this? I have even depressurized the gun completely, there is still no chance to load it like I have seen on Youtube.

Be sure that you have the gun depressurized. Power regulator must be in back position loose. Then tray to unscrew the muzzle. If the gun is new that should not be a problem. First try to unscrew the screw on muzzle tip. I suppose somebody was shoot the gun out of water and the piston (white plastic part you can see through muzzle ports) is jammed in shock absorber.

I just deprussurized and tried then; now I can load. Can I also store the gun without pressurefor three weeks? Then I wil use it in Bali...

If you put about 10 pump strokes into it then the oil is less likely to leak out as some internal air pressure keeps the "O" rings tight against their sealing surfaces. Leaks may be small in any case, it is not critical.
