Hello,
Does anyone know what level of t factor I should apply in my settings ? (surface mode -set- set dive - t factor).
I bought a Mares smart apnea . I want to set the minimal surface interval between the dives appliying the t factor . This means the minimum recovery time between dives . This is necessery to avoid decompression. This factor should allow me to dive safely at all kind of depths. Settings can be applied between the factor 1 and 7 ( per 0.5)
Thank you !

Greetings from Belgium
Geertine

Hi, as you know, when you freedive to max 30m your surface interval should be 2 or 3 times longer that divetime. I spoke to Mares guy because I want to buy this watch too, so he told me that T factor is for: divetime * T factor = minimal surface interval. So when you dive for 2,5 minute and T factor will be set to 2 your surface time will be 5 minutes (2,5*2=5), before that, if you go to dive, it will activate alarm. You canot change T factor on one sesion, just end session, reset T factor, start new one, if you want to change it. Pitty that for deeper dives, 30m to 55m you count: surface time=depth / 5 (45m depth dive = 9 minutes surface time) and after 55m depth and deeper this should be your last dive that day... this that watch cant do.
