Mares Smart Dive Computer or Smart Apnea Computer?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Smart apnea has 6 depth alarms which is useless because they sound the same. How can I tell if it's the 5th or 6th.. So most people probably only use 3. To make it more confuse to user. Time alarm, speed alarm, all alarm sound the same. Who use those anyway, what a gimmick, not to mention the drinking water alarm.

with firmware 2.0 alarms have different accoustics:

depth=3 short beeps
time=2 long beeps
speed=cont beeping

Hower all depth alarms seem to sound the same

right. I broke my smart apnea and a friend of mine broke his. I question the durability of the product, actually now I'm questioning anything made in italian. I rather have Chinese products. To my experience, I started diving with 4-5 alarms, and it totally messed up my mind. Now I'm diving watchless and I dive better. However I don't mind ascending alarm (if I can have it without descending ones), or the timing alarm, such as it's already 2 mins and I have yet reached the bottom, I should turn. For descending, one depth alarm for precise mouthfill is enough I think.

So my current thinking is a perfect freediving watch should be, cheap, durable, ascending alarm or sound, and easy to get the profile out, without silly cables, to smart phones. Nobody wants to travel to freediving destinations with laptop and its charging cable.

I ordered mine a few days ago. In what way did they break?

What did the warranty support said?

Btw you don't need a laptop to charge an usb device, just search for a usb charger for the wall
