Mares snub nose o ring kit n instructions

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I guess the Snub is a 13mm gun (inner barrel diameter). So, the o-ring service set for the Mares 13 Sten should be a good base - that set may have all you need.
Actually, I can only think of one o-ring that may not be compatible and that’s the one for the trigger pin depending on how big it is in the Snub. The newer Stens have 1.5mm trigger pins - but perhaps it was thicker in an older Snub. I’m not 100% sure but the thinner trigger pins - which give a softer pull - might have been introduced in 2001.
But even if your Snub has a thicker pin it will be easy to get a matching o-ring as it’s from the ubiquitous AS568 series.
If you have a set of calipers then let us know how thick the trigger pin is and we should br able to tell you which o-ring should work.
The pin will be either 1.5mm, 2mm or maybe even 3mm though I don’t know enough about the older Mares guns to take an educated guess at which it would be.

The pump inlet valve for a Sten will work, too.

I wouldn’t be surprised if @popgun pete has instructions he can upload or link to.

The “Snub Nose” is the US name for the “Miniministen”, but there have been different models of it in terms of the years that it was made. A set of seals for any of the Sten family will fit it as will the standard Mares hand pump.
