Anyone out there know of a low cost tool for measuring lung Volume improvement? I suppose I could use a balloon and do water displacement in a graduated container but it's a bit of a hassle.

easy measure

You hit the two easiest ones. The balloon seems to work well with a little care. The third easy way is weights and a gallon jug in the pool. Your profile doesn't say where you are.

Wow, it doesn't look so primitive to me. I just wish I could figure it out from the pictures. "Overflade" means overflow? But "dunken" that's what I do to get under the water for a dive. It looks like you blow water out of the container, by syphon? TP.

Overflade means "surface of the water"
Dunken means "the water container" (or barrel)

Bring the "dunken" :) to the pool and fill it with water. Then turn it upside-down and make sure that all the water stays in the container.

Use the small piece of water hose to "blow out the water".

You are now able to read your vital capacity on the scale you wrote on the container.

I hope i works...
