Medical Research in israel

Hi all,

Last friday has started a medical research on freedivers in a pressure chamber , i was the first 'guinea pig' (-:
the research is going to held on the next 3 month.
some of the checks are-heart beat,blood pressure,blood shift,blood in peripheral tissue, o2 & co2 and more.
When i will get the results of the research i will publish them here.
If anybody know if there was a freediving research in a pressure chamber some where i whould like to know.

Yes, indeed, an important number of diverse freediving related studies are done in hyperbaric chambers. Unfortunately, the documents in the Apnea.cz database are not indexed by this parameter, so the search is far to be complete, but some of them may be listed under these keywords:

Talk to Bob Croft. He had extensive hyperbaric testing while still in the navy including real time plethysmography of lung circulatory volume before after and during apnea at simulated depths.
