Due to mental health issues, I can’t really train static apnea. All I’ve been doing for the last year was holding my breath for 2 minutes once or twice every day. No warm ups, no breathe ups, just that. Is it enough to at least keep my ability or something? Is it okay to take breaks on days I feel mentally worse?
Thanks :)

In addition to your current routine, you might want to try incorporating some relaxation techniques into your daily life.

Mental health first, always. Two minutes daily keeps the engine warm, but take breaks when needed. Warm-ups and relaxed breathing can help, but listen to your body. Celebrate small wins, enjoy your apnea, and remember, you're not alone!

In addition to your current routine, you might want to try incorporating some relaxation techniques into your daily life. Things like deep breathing exercises, meditation, or gentle yoga can help you relax, reduce stress, and improve your overall mental well-being. They can be a great complement to your static apnea training. Btw, have you ever tried cannabis for mental health? You can get a medical cannabis card uk and give it a shot. I've heard a lot of good reviews about it.
