Afternoon Ladies and Gents,

I'm based in the Midlands and am fairly new to freediving (only really a recreational freediver ... snorkelling with some dives to the bottom for a mooch around). Obviously locations in the Midlands are mainly pool based training (unless anyone can suggest some open water spots?)

I spend quite a bit of time in the north west of Wales, and really like Anglesey.

A couple of questions:
Anyone suggest anywhere in the midlands for some open water training / snorkelling (or any deep public pools)?
Anyone know of any good spots around Anglesey for freediving?

I have looked around the internet for dive sites, but most seem to be more for scuba, mainly due to the depths out in open water, and the tides, currents etc aound the coast of Anglesey.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
