It's important anyway not to put silicon in a monofin's seams, where there is glue. Silicon is very slippery and not good for glueing. So put it only there, where you need it (inside the footpockets, not near seams). And of course, don't use those big silicon tubes for construction, which they use in seams in bathrooms and pools etc., the result would be something strange...
