Monofin stiffness

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 90 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Isn't it, soft fins for efficiency and hard fins for sprinting?

I have a hard one, it's pretty fast. I do 50m in 25 sec. No where near the WR 14.5 sec or something insane like that.

It depends for what you need it.if you are working is swimming pool for finswimming like me the general rule is sprint(50-100)hard or extra hard,200-400m medium and 800-1500 soft.of course some things change with the characteristiks of the athlete.how strong legs he has,how big endurance he has and how long he does it to be familial with th pain that the stifness blade has.
If you are interesting for something else like apnoe ,diving ,fishing maybe the things change.some more special guys will post for you
pointyman
i am doing finswiming 5 months and swim the 50 in 17.3.
You have to work harder and take some other fin.i use starfins
