why don't spearos use mono fins if they give you more power and depth? this question has been puzzling me for a while but im sure there is a simple answer and ill be hitting my head.

the answer is simple
the man is a biped who is using his legs alternatelevly...is not used to kick simoultaneusly with the both legs
that's why the monofin mouvements seems not so easely at the beginning of usage...
when spearing, like my fellow said above, the hunter needs to have full manouvrability, so the legs must act separatelly....for a change of direction or for a specific position underwater...[you must be able to go down, up or turn yourself depending of the currents, positions of the fish or rocks, to go hiding in a very stealthy way....
my opinion: the mono ARE NOT for spearing....[v good for freediving training and freediving itself]
we are not feet for monofins....just love them...
think of this....when you hunt the conditions can be bad: cold waters, not so clears waters, streams, underwater storms....so you need to be as comfortable as you can be for dealing with a fish before and after you spear it....no need to have a problem in extra....

It's because sharks will take you for a seal and swallow you whole.
You know swallow you whole? No shaking, no tenderizing, down you go! :blackeye
