Gna be living in Wokingham area

Howzit, if you end up that way give the London International Club a shout via myself and we'll sort you out. Not much surfing ; although I watched the guys trying to catch the 1/2m foamies last week. LIC are of no real fixed spearfishing abode, being landlocked and with membership from Cornwall to Norfolk (a few regular contributors to the Deeper Blue forum are members), so tend to roam rofl wherever the viz/fish are. Bring a 5mm suit and a short gun (by SA standards a 1m is short) 100cm and under. Capetonians normally take to the conditions here easily as water temperatures and terrain are similiar. 1st Capetonian, Wayne Penn, I dived with in the UK was in Bognor, used a 3mm suit in May and stayed in for 6hrs Brrr.
Cheers Paul

Hehe, sounds good...shot for the reply man...
will definately hook up with you guys when I'm there...
I think im gna bring a 5mm suit...that 3 mil sounds too chilly for me! but ya, im organising a smaller gun etc...
I like the comment 'roam wherever the viz/fish are' now we talking!!!!!!!!!

hey plenty of work in the UAE, better paid and its a helluva lot warmer :D

A good compromise is Portsmouth. A bit of an armpit, but with decent jobs, easy access to good diving and a very active spearfishing club
Where is the good diving near Portsmouth?
