Calling Utah, we are moving to the Provo area in early August and I would like to find someone to freedive with. I will be doing my predoctoral internship and will not have lot of time so I would like to get together with someone who knows the best dive sites. I am willing to dive with anyone who is competent. It would be nice to have people to train with as well. Warmly, Angus

Still looking

The move to Utah occurs in 3 days. There must be someone in Utah who is a freediver. Really, I am a nice guy and not inclined to whine but if begging would help... Angus

denver

angus,

i'm about 8 hours away from provo. i'm living around the denver area, and i know there's one other guy here too. don't think this really helps you at all, but just wanted to let you know there will be some people somewhat close by. :D

good luck, and try changing your initial thread subject to "utah" or something. maybe you'll get some bites with that. ?

later,
anderson

good idea

Andrsn thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a go. I am just completing the first 3 months of my 12 month doctoral internship so it is unlikely that I could devote many hours of travel but it would be cool if there was someplace worth diving that was somewhere in between. Its weird living in an inland desert. But there is one unique diving spot about 45 minutes from here called Homestead Crater. If you haven't already heard of it you can check it out on www.utahdiving.com. Thanks again, Angus
