anyone ever consider the use of the fish bag coolers, you know these soft cooler bags for fish, i thought it could be a good idea if you could put one on top of the board load it with some ice and store the fish in there instead of dragging it around on a stringer...a fresher way to store the fish
Oh spot the warm water diver! rofl

ok steve you got me.... maybe not the best idea for Egypt, but what about ther parts...:):)

You might be able to get a Shardana for 40odd quid mate, but it'd be more like £70-80 over here I'd guess! Besides, it wouldn't have that built it myself custom special something that makes stuff so much nicer to use!

My float has a bag on top of it and I made the mistake of putting fish in there once (forgot the stringer). The one problem with the soft bags is that you never get all of the stink out of it; the float lives outside now.

wash it with diluted white vinegar, leave it in there for a day or so then rinse, my cool box doesn't smell at all. I do that to all my fishy smelling gear, apart from wet suit and anything rubber. Also the vinegar neutralizes the salt and stops your dive knife rusting to buggery
