You won't know yourself, looks like you're enjoying your diving, & these will make it even more enjoyable. I don't like cold water & even find Eden too cold in summer for my liking. You Mexicans are tough. Will you still spear through the winter down there?

Yup, I got the suit so that I could spear through winter. I have some under layers I can add on if it's not enough, but I should be alright through most of the winter I expect.
I spearfish for enjoyment these days & I expect the only diving I'll do this winter (I have a busy year & some projects I want to finish) will be if I can get out wide off Sydney if the tuna show up. I've neglected to shoot a bluefin over 50 kilo's & its on my bucket list so I figure I'd better get onto it before the greens stop us spearing one. Good thing about that sort of diving is when you jump in the water it feels much warmer than the air. I'm hoping to travel a bit more for spearing in 2o16, but that will be to somewhere warm. However those huge halibut that get speared on the cold northern hemisphere waters would certainly tempt me to spend several days in icy waters. Hopefully one day.
Just a warning if you really get into spearing don't spend too much time spearing the Barrier Reef or the wide reefs off QLD. It will ruin you & you'll never want to dive anywhere else.

I don't feel like I would know what I am doing in blue water at this point. I love exploring reefs, but a 50kg anything would be an impressive fish.
I hope to make a trip North to spear up there, but it would be a few years off. I have to finish Uni first. Victoria and NSW will have to do.
