After all these years (2 :p) I finally went freediving, I took a course with Pierre Frolla. It finally enabled me to dive beyond my 10 meters limit when spearfishing. I was able to use a sled (No-limit style with balloon). We first started diving to 10 meters with the sled, costant weight and free immersion (immersion libre). The sled was great but I didn't experience any real sensations, as it wasnt too deep, after a few dives to 20 meters (in constant weight) I asked if we could drop the line till the bottom, we did that and Pierre dove down to see how deep it was and see if it was okay for me. He got up and gave the ok signal. After a 2 minute breath up (lots of waves, grrrrr) I sat on the sled and the 10 second countdown was given. TOK! I pulled the golf ball and sliiiiing I started to go down... I closed my eyes and felt the pressure building up and light going away. I felt completely limp, with my head bobbing in the current, and all too soon i hit the disk. I opened my eyes to reveal a rocky bottom and a very dark blue color, I could not see the top... A school of fish passed by ( unrecognizable ) and I got of the sled and swam th last 40 cm to the bottom and picked up a nice rock. I looked up once again at that infinite blue for one last time and sat back on the sled and turned the knob for the balloon to inflate. It was a strange experience going away from the bottom and at the last 10 meters I let go of the balloon and floated back up. I burst into the open air and back into reality, I showed everyone the rock and one guy even clapped :)o hehehe)... I then learned that I dove to 35 meters (on my first day :D) It was definatly one of the most strangest and most rewarding experiences of my life ( so far ). I know have a rock as a souvenier and a wanting to go back to that strange realm of bluenessness hahahha :D...
I only got the 27 meters with constant weight with fins.... but I consider that very good my my standards! ( I am 16 BTW)

I dont have any photos of me diving (sadly) but I do have a photo of the rock.
