My New Haircut

It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I think that there should be a universal system where divers have a beacon on their dive flag and if a boat gets within 50 meters of it their engine slows to a crawl. The idea has lots of flaws, but it would save lives if it could be figured out.

Thats a pretty good idea! Have you ever seen the bait cars that police use? The carjackers steal the car and when the police get to the scene they are able to shut the car down.

Or maybe just one of those EMP things would do the trick:martial

Actually, now that I think of it, my plan would work really well if people would just implement it into the rental boats. That way the smart people wouldn't have to deal with something so annoying. It seems like anyone willing to drop 20 grand on something probably doesn't want to spend just as much in court by running someone over. Its those idots who drank a whole six pack and want to ride fast on the weekend you have to worry about.
