Near Bilbao (Sopelana)

I am staying at Camping Sopelana for a week or so (arrived today) and it looks good for spearfishing. Does anybody have any local knowledge or maybe somebody would like to come for a dive with me? I particularly like night diving if anybody would like to join me one evening?

Just check before you go in Tom that it's not totally illegal .they are really funny in Europe over night spear fishing !have great time .will have quick look now and see.

Thanks Ian. I went in yesterday about midday and was immediately surrounded by a huge shoal of little bream along with a couple of little bass. Had a nice couple of hours in the warm water and hot sunshine (Spain is brilliant!) and came out with a couple of mullet for the BBQ. Will check on the night diving rules before venturing in at night...

There's a dive shop in Bilbao that has spear fishing stuff. may give you info if your near by .CASCO ANTIGUO
