I have always used an aluminum 42" ab biller with 2 5/8 bands. I am like robin hood with that thing. Now I purchased a Mahogany 60" Biller and am missing the most simple shots. It has two medium sized 5/8 bands on it. Only accuracy I got from it was when I put my other hand on the bottom of the gun directly in front of the trigger. My fingers got caught in the string a couple times. I gotta be doing something wrong

It may be the increased recoil with the larger spear. Also the stupid slide ring and giant rock point tip they use makes the guns horribly inaccurate. Replace it with a Floridian shaft, or if you want to keep the shaft replace the tip with a single flopper tip that doesn't have the heavy swivel connection in it, and get a low profile slide ring for it.

Okay, my gripe about biller's aside. I'm not sure what the design of the aluminum was like, but you may be experiencing a common recoil issue with shooting a midhandled gun. Try bracing the butt of the gun with your nonshooting hand. This will keep it stable during the shot and prevent the innacuracy that recoil on a midhandle can sometimes create. Also, time with the gun will help you become more accurate with it. But changing the components I mentioned above, will make the gun itself more consistent and thereby make you a whole lot more accurate with it.

when i got a biller i had the same problems. get rid of the double flopper tip, maybe shorten the bands an inch or so. that's a big gun.

Thanks a lot for the info guys. I am sure this will help enormously. I will modify the gun this week and change the way I hold it asap.
