Hi, I am very new to spearfishing and haven't even gone spearfishing yet. I am 15 and I'm not absolutely sure that I have the strength to pull back one of the rubber bands on a gun. My dad bought one that had 2 bands and I can barely pull those back. Is there a good technique to making it easier to pull back the bands or should I buy a pneumatic gun. Also please give me some recommendations on pneumatic guns under $300.

Welcome to deeper blue dude. What gun have you got? I wouldn't worry about loading it, it is much much easier in the water, I think it is the balance you get that makes the difference. Even with that it's not strength but technique that is the main factor

Dude you are in FL, you can pm me with some stuff if you want. For a beginner gun, just tell me your, height and where you usually hunt? depth? what you usually go after?
ie: cuda, hog, grouper ....

Two guns come in mind RA Caranx or Tuna version(s) & Seac-Sub Asso cheap & extremely good + reliable.
