I'm trying to get a friend interested in this sport so that I would have a buddy to train with....that lives nearby....and my age....at the same level as me....well you get the point. Any ideas on how to get someone into this sport? Thanks in advance.

Go see Ocean Men with him.
Go on a trip with him to the Carribean, where the water is warm and clear. With any luck he will get hooked, and be ready to dive where it is cold and murky as well.
